Sunday Steals: Makeup Revolution Mono Shadows

Well hello there stranger.
I've seen quite some hype around the Makeup Revolution brand and they appear to have some pretty decent dupes for the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. I picked these mono shadows up from Superdrug on a whim and being only £1 each, I was already off to a good start! From my selection of shadows, you can probably tell that I'm more into earthy browns, taupes and nudes and that I'm not a huge fan of colour on the lids. However Makeup Revolution have quite a range of colours  also varying from shimmer to matte finishes. My absolute favourite shades are MMM for the eyelids and Pure and Smooth As... for contour and I've been using them everyday for literally the past month! I will definitely be repurchasing these shades when I run out.

• I love the pigmentation of the darker shadows, and they surprisingly last a good while when layered on top of my Urban Decay Primer Potion

• They're extremely affordable compared to the likes of UD palettes

• Because they are single shadows, it's easier for travel purposes. I don't have to take a whole palette with me.

• Pure and Smooth As .. are the perfect contour shades for my skin tone as they have quite cool toned finishes

• The lighter colours are a little chalky so I don't like using them on their own

• Because they're single shadows, I lose them more easily.

• The packaging is quite cheap, the logo rubbed off within 2-3 days of me keeping it in my makeup bag.

Have you tried any Makeup Revolution products?
